USS Chancellorsville (CG-62) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser in service in the United States Navy. She is named for the remarkable Confederate victory over Union forces under Robert E. Lee at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia. United States Navy ships are rarely named for Confederate victories in the American Civil War.
Chancellorsville carries guided missiles and rapid-fire cannons, with anti-air, anti-surface and anti-subsurface capabilities. She also carries two Seahawk LAMPS multi-purpose helicopters, but mainly for anti-submarine warfare.
