A310-300 Emirates Airlines
Product Details

  • The Airbus A310-300 was a significant aircraft in Emirates Airlines’ fleet. It played a crucial role in the airline’s expansion. Introduced in 1987, the A310-300 marked a transition for Emirates. Consequently, the airline moved from leasing aircraft to owning a modern and capable fleet. This wide-body aircraft enabled Emirates to establish and strengthen its routes to key European cities. As a result, destinations like Frankfurt and London became more accessible, enhancing Emirates’ international presence. The A310-300 featured a two-class configuration with 18 business class seats and 177 economy class seats. Thus, this setup provided a comfortable travel experience. Later, the configuration expanded to a three-class layout with 18 first-class seats, 32 business-class seats, and 131 economy-class seats. This offered more options for travelers. Additionally, the A310-300 allowed Emirates to open new long-haul routes. Therefore, destinations like Malé, London, and Singapore were added. This significantly contributed to the airline’s growth. As the airline continued to expand, it phased out the A310-300. Subsequently, Emirates opted for more efficient and cost-effective aircraft, such as the Airbus A330 and Boeing 777. These newer models offered lower operating costs and higher passenger capacity. Despite its retirement, the A310-300 remains a symbol of Emirates’ early years and its journey to becoming a global aviation powerhouse.
