The Taylorcraft Auster Mk 5 is a British military liaison and observation aircraft that made a significant impact during World War II. Developed by Taylorcraft Aeroplanes (England) Limited, this aircraft adapted the American Taylorcraft design to meet the rigorous demands of wartime operations.
